There are so many things about Malaysia that make me want to never leave the country. Often times we get wrapped up in the negative rabbit hole and the dirty politics to ever remember the good about the country. Every country has its rotten side but there is also the bright, youthful, and vibrant side. As a rule, we should always count our blessings and look forward to the positives. There is a reason why Malaysia is so unique among all the southeast Asian countries. It is regularly visited by tourists from all over the world, and we can assure you, the amazing food is only a part of it. From the neighborhoods of Selangor such as Bangi to East Malaysia where lushness awaits us, there is so much to look forward to. And so much that makes us unique.
Have you ever visited a country that celebrates almost a huge chunk of all religious festivities? Have you ever seen people of all different races study about one another and stand in unity to celebrate independence? This is a unique sight that only belongs to Malaysia. Every now and then, we are endlessly preparing for all the different religious holidays. Malaysia majorly celebrates Islamic holidays as the country is predominantly a Muslim country. As for the rest, there are Christmas holidays, traditional Chinese religious holidays, holy days in Hinduism, and more. Malaysian Indians tend to practice Hinduism, Malaysian Malays practice Islam, and most Malaysians practice Buddhism or other traditional Chinese religions. Did we also mention the mix of all the different races in the country? It constitutes mainly three different races, that is Malay, Chinese, and Indians.
Malaysia is also a country that represents strong familial bonds. Even with strangers. There are no strangers in the country as people refer to one another as sisters or brothers. People are friendly, warm-hearted, and easy to accept new people. Their hospitality is loved by people from all over the world. The nature of Malaysians is a lesson to many.
Malaysia is also giving us the best of the metropolitan city and the lush green and beach life. One day you wake up feeling the need to spend a night in the greenery of the jungle, among nature, then this is only one booking away or even one road trip away. If you want to hike a mountain, behold the sights of Kota Kinabalu. If feeling a little less adventurous there is still so many hills with amazing sights. Malaysia is also home to one of the world’s best beaches and diving sites. If you want to go explore underwater life, there is no better place than Malaysia. Do not get me wrong, it is also the place for your working girl life. Kuala lupus is a buzzing city with amazing food, great nightlife, wonderful work experience, and most importantly the friendliest people on earth.
Still, wondering about visiting Malaysia or maybe even moving there? Well, if you are looking for a country with the perfect blend of diversity and acceptance within east Asia, look no further than Malaysia!
